June 13, 2009 – Hail the return of mob rule under the weak leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the great and anointed citizen organizer, who has no experience at all running anything but a group of cretins (ACORN, etc.) who are out to change America into their grand vision of abject socialism.  That’s right, Obama’s mob, bought off by the Democrats with our money, have now elected their supreme emperor, to continue the great Democrat tradition of exploiting the naive and stupid among us, with promises of a socialist utopia, on the backs of American producers ….. you know, the responsible, self-reliant ones that work for a living, or create jobs with their wealth and end up paying for every unconstitutional handout, bailout or stimulus package that government can craft.

June 13, 2009 – “We” have to give the schools more money. “We” have to pay the teachers more. “We” have to get parents more involved in their children’s public schools. “We” have to get parents more involved in their children’s homework. “We” have to find a way to close the achievement gap between white children and black or Latino kids. “We” have to demand accountability from our public schools and teachers. “We” have to end the drugs and violence in our public schools.

June 12, 2009 – Although the United States stopped calling the Israeli settlements in the West Bank “illegal” in 1981, they clearly are illegal. The rest of the international community agrees. For reasons which seem self-evident to anyone who travels the West Bank and talks to the residents, the growth of settlements and the actions of settlers are seen by Palestinians and other Arabs as the principal obstacle to peace. What we saw in the Holy Basin, in Ma’ale Adumim, in the E-1 area, and in Hebron, certainly confirms that judgment.

Article 49 (sixth paragraph) of Geneva Convention (IV) states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” Israel has historically made various arguments to evade application of this prohibition to the settlements in the West Bank. Among them are: that although Israel ratified the Convention it did not adopt legislation to enforce it, so no case can be brought; that Israel is not an occupying power, because there is no state to which it can “return” the territory; that Jews should have the right to live anywhere, making arguments against settlers racist; and that, since final status issues include drawing borders, the future of the settlements is a subject of negotiation. These arguments are all fallacious.

June 07, 2009 – Free speech should be practiced only by those who are ready to deal with the consequences, which just might include a knock on the door by a friendly federal investigator wanting to know if you posted an anonymous comment on a Web site. Were you advocating violence or confessing to breaking the federal tax laws?

This is not a hypothetical.

June 10th, 2009 – He has a number of names. He has a number of life stories. He has a number of autobiographies. He has had a number of fathers. He attended a number of schools. He lived in a number of countries. He has a number of half siblings. He claims a number of religious traditions.

One would think therefore that we would know quite a lot about the fellow. One would be wrong. He is truly The Man Without A Past, a man invisible behind his carefully constructed public veneer.

June 10, 2009 – Golden Boy U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is having a hissy fit over a book, Triple Cross, How Bin Laden’s Master Spy Penetrated the CIA, the Green Berets, and the FBI, a 2006 by Peter Lance. Lance had the temerity (and documentation) to question the fiction of Fitzie’s infallibility. Fitzgerald calls the book a “deliberate lie masquerading as truth.”

June  8, 2009 – There is an old saying, “if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, you can figure it’s a duck.”

During the 2008 presidential campaign, rumors circulated that Also Known As (AKA) Obama was a Muslim; that he had studied Islam extensively while an Indonesian citizen attending school in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In response to these rumors, AKA’s website fightthesmears posted the following:

“Barack Obama is a committed Christian. He was sworn into the Senate on his family Bible. He has regularly attended church with his wife and daughters for years. But shameful, shadowy attackers have been lying about Barack’s religion, claiming he is a Muslim instead of a committed Christian. When people fabricate stories about someone’s faith to denigrate them politically, that’s an attack on people of all faiths. Make sure everyone you know is aware of this deception.”

June 8, 2009 - There are times that I wonder what the hell is wrong with me. All through my life I have been a rebel. I never followed orders too well and I always questioned the reason for things I was ordered to do.

People always thought I was just an argumentative little shit, but I think it came from a ingrained desire to understand how things worked, to know the truth.
Although I was shy as a kid I was never afraid of getting into an argument when I felt that I was right about something. On certain occasions this got me into some pretty heated discussions, especially with my father, who was just like me.
