Senior Death Warrants
June 27, 2009 - The actress Natasha Richardson died after falling skiing in Canada. It took eight hours to drive her to a hospital. If Canada had our healthcare she might be alive today. We now have helicopters that would have gotten her to the hospital in 30 minutes. Obama wants to have our healthcare like Canada’s and England’s.
In England anyone over 59 cannot receive heart repairs or stents or bypass because it is not covered as being too expensive and not needed.
I got this today and am sending it on. If Obama’s plans in other areas don’t scare you, this should.
Please do not let Obama sign senior death warrants.
Everybody who read’s this post, is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knows somebody that is.
Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the “stimulus” bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for Senior citizens.. The author of this part of the bill, former Senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement.
Bloomberg: Daschle says “health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.”
If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that Senators and Congressmen **have their own healthcare plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder of their lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes. You pay for it, but you can’t have it.
Please use the power of the internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level…. We have an election coming up in one year and nine months. We have the ability to address and reverse the dangerous direction the Obama administration and it allies have begun, and in the interim, they can make their lives miserable. Lets do it! If you disagree, don’t do anything. Most of you will just roll over and play dead…which you soon will be…suckers!!!!

This topic of healthcare is very important, yet so many people, including you, post material for others to read that promotes fear mongering, half truths and out-and-out lies about healthcare reform. the dis-information contained in your post is destructive to the process that we will all go thru whether we contribute to it or not. Both u and your readers have the same resources available to look into the accuracy or not of this post, and most of it is inaccurate.

It seems there’s ‘Truth & Consequences’ in the report. So far, under the OBAMANOMICS, there has been nothing but a ‘Takeover’ for Power, without regard to our Constitution! His view of ‘Government’ has taken over, using Czars without any oversight (except beholden only to him). No one seems to be accountable. I hold him responsible for his actions, just as I would any (Republican, Democrat, Independent —- Fairy God Mother!) I know we’ve had Czars in the past, but the first ones that come to mind are the Czars under Mussolini, Russia and other communist Dictators’ and countries. This is the feeling I’m getting of where we’re headed. If I recollect correct, a number of them were just taken out and shot (Example: What is a czar? By Kimberly A Dvorak). Just like the older folk, which they had no use for. This concerns me VERY Much—- as it should you. We getting warnings from people from all these other counties that have lived under that depression. It isn’t just the ‘Heath Care issue!’ Why not require the President and Congress to use the same Health plan their trying to shove down our throats. I think they would think or at least ‘READ’ what was in the Bills! Last I heard— They are suppose to work (represent) for US, not Dictate to us, what they determine we need. I’ve said my piece!

This whole thing is a load of hooey. Please see http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/seniordeath.asp. The only true part is that Daschle did say “will not be pain free.” The rest of the words in the Bloomberg article are the author’s (Betsy McCaughey) interpretation of something Daschle quoted.
I really wish people would STOP using the internet to spread garbage and untruths as if they were gospel.

This Obama health plan is like painting the Hindenburg a different color. Without addressing tort reform it is bound to blow up.
As a senior citizen we need to stop this charge to national health care.
My father has had several operations after the age to 60 to which I’m very great full because if not he would not be alive today. I do not like the government telling me how to handle mine or my family’s healthy decisions. That should be left to each and every one of us who it affects. I like the coverage that I have chosen for me and my family and I don’t like the fact that some damn government person can decide how my health decisions are made. I DO NOT WANT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DIRECTING MY HEALTH COICES…
Obama is Your God! Now bow down and lick the boot heel that smashes your feeble face into the dirt! We need higher taxes and also bans on painkillers and evil Asprin that has killed so many people. Over 5 billion people a day die from bad food! Our Food needs to be taxed and regulated! Wake up people! Obama will help the USA!

Unfortunately, we 50 plus Americans are the ones who really care about what happens to this country, worry about morality issues, worry about the deficit, and know what healthcare will do. This writer is facing a major surgery and I am working at greased-ligthening speed wth my Physicians to get it done before September as I know that my insurance will stumble and fall on it after this healtchare bill is put into law. We don’t have a President running our country; we have………………………
