Where oh Where Have the Solutions Gone?

Alternative media of all types sprung up because of the deficiencies of mass media.

That could have been a useful thing.

But I have noticed that in reality there is little difference between them.

Knowingly or unknowingly most of the alternative media have fallen into the snare.

The same snare mass media found its self in.

It feels it has to entertain the people.

Rarely are any solutions offered.

Only more of the same, reporting of news and lots of name calling and slander.

So the people remain lost.

They listen to alternative media and they get entertained.

They might want to become part of real change but don’t know how.

They are sheep use of being lead.

So they feel guilty for their lack of individual action.

But then loud, angery, rabble rousers, name callers, damn right mad host set their snare.

Their snare either knowingly or unknowingly they set out and the sheep take the bate.

The sheep transfer their feeling on to the host … they are caught in the snare.

The host anger is their anger. The hosts name calling is theirs and so on.

So at the close of the program, the sheep feel good again.

They feel they have won a victory.

They don’t realize it’s all illusion, not real, that they did nothing.

And no more guilt in the sheep for a while. They Baaaah contentedly.

But nothing has changed.

Reality progresses.

Things keep getting worse.

Things are going more to hell by the minuet.

But the sheep have been put back to sleep and are grazing contentedly.

No need to worry about them.

They are so far gone they will never reawaken.

Had they personally acted on their guilt maybe their country would have been saved.

But they didn’t have it in them to be that honest with themselves.

So they transfered their guilt to another and went on grazing another day.

Never dawning on them tomorrow the Hormell truck would come to take them away.

Never again to graze.

Stupid ignorant sheep asleep.

Baaaaaa - baaaaaa - baaaaaa!
