April 28, 2009 – Following the publication of When Will America Have Had Enough, I received an e-mail from an individual, most incensed that I would write such “rot” concerning the eligibility of Also Known As (AKA) Obama to the office of president.  Didn’t I know that Janice Okubo of the Hawaii Health Department, when queried by the “Tribune”, had stated that the birth certificate held by Hawaii was issued by Hawaii?

Having never heard of Janice Okubo or her supposed revelation before, and thinking I might have missed something important in my research, it seemed prudent to see what I could find.  My search came up with an archived article in the “Chicago Tribune” in which Janice Okubo’s name appeared.  The article is titled Obama birth certificate rumor debunked and was published October 30, 2008.

And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America, having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as The One.. He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but He hypnotized the people telling them, “I am sent to save you. My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed.”

April 28, 2009 – The year was 1787, the city, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event was a convention to revise the Articles of Confederation, although for the most part, the delegates attending this monumental meeting of minds realized that a mere revision of the existing Articles would not suffice. The consensus among many was that a completely new document be written to correct the deficiencies of the Articles of Confederation.

Possibly as an omen of the rough times ahead, Rhode Island refused to send any delegates to participate in the convention, as they were content with the existing system of government, as weak and inefficient as it may have been.

April 27, 2009 – Our freedom and liberty is under assault on a daily basis. Every day there seems to be a new government inspired manipulation, or obfuscation, by this whacked out omnipotent government whose totalitarian reach is really starting to annoy me, as it encroaches on my freedom and liberty.

You know, the next time I hear some nauseous little liberal chirping about: ” I don’t necessarily agree with what he said but I would die to defend his right to say it,” I think I’m going to take him up on it!

April 25, 2009 – In eight more months, it will be time for hourly reruns of Ralphie’s life story, the 1983, A Christmas Story starring Darren McGavin, Melinda Dillon and that obnoxious little four-eyed kid, who Santa (rightfully) kicked down the slide, my neighbor, Peter Billingsley.

Although I never really could stand this movie, I liked the part where Ralphie stuck his tongue to the bridge (been there, done that), and of coarse, the Christmas dinner at the Chinese restaurant at the end of the film “’Tis the season to be jorry. Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra!”. But the real quest within the film, was by the little brat himself – the search for the Holy Grail: the official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle/BB gun. Yesiree Bob – the beaut-ee-full steel blue one.

April 24, 2009 – Just shy of twenty years ago, on June 5, 1989, in the incident in Tiananmen Square, China, a lone and very brave, if not somewhat foolish man, stood out in front of a row of battle tanks, using his body as a symbol of protest against dictatorial authority.  This nameless man managed to stop the advance of the tanks by moving in front of the first tank, every time it positioned to go around him.  Later, the man jumped up on the tank and had a conversation with the driver.  On-lookers managed to pull him off of the tank and he was absorbed into the watching crowd.  One eyewitness to the event believes that the man was hauled away by secret police, tortured and then executed, as the man never appeared in public again and the Chinese government could not, or would not, produce him.  Although many accounts purport to know what happened to him, the “tank” man’s name or his final fate, has never been verified.

April 24, 2009 - As I mentioned in my last installment, the proposals to draft a Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation were made within days of each other. The war for independence was still in its early stages and the fight would continue for years.

It speaks volumes about the mindset of the Continental Congress that it took them only two days to edit and agree upon the final draft of the Declaration of Independence, yet it took more than a year to agree upon a revised, and much weakened, version of the Articles of Confederation.

April 21, 2009 – You spend your entire adult life living life the right way. You buy a car on ‘time’, you pay your debt. You get retail store credit cards, such as JC Penney, Sears, Best Buy, etc – you pay your bills on time or before they are due.

You purchase your first home in 1972, another in the Spring of ’76, sell it and buy another in the Fall of the same year. In ’79 your daughter is born, you pay the bill to the hospital because you have no insurance and you buy another house, and then another in ’80 and ’85, move to the Valley of the Scum in ’90 and buy another house, and another in 2003, sell it in 21 months and make a killing, and buy another in 2005.

April 21, 2009 – Little Timmy Geithner really thinks he has the authority to spend other peoples money as he sees fit.  The fact that these thieves have been doing it for a long time does NOT make it right or Constitutional.

Americans really are so willingly ignorant of their RIGHTS it isn’t funny.  They have come to believe that government has money of it’s own.  They fail to understand that government hasn’t got one red cent or one brown one either.  Government has to TAKE (steal) what is the property of American citizens.

April 21, 2009 – All American Citizens who love our country, our freedom and values and cherish our democratic system of government respect the Office of President of the United States.   However, the Office of President of the United States has been handed to an individual, Barry Soetoro, aka  Barack Hussein Obama, who just may have planted the seeds for the destruction of our election system through fraud and deceit and may be a Presidential usurper. It seems as though the Office of the Presidency may be getting more tarnished with each succeeding President.

April 21, 2009 – Bailout, stimulus and other spending binges have obligated generations of Americans to $12.8 TRILLION in debt, according to a recent Bloomberg study.

Congress and the Obama administration are poised to impose climate change programs that could cost $3 trillion and regulate every aspect of our lives.

And the same politicians are snubbing their noses at trillions of dollars in government revenue that could come from developing energy resources that they are locking up.

The irresponsibility of it all boggles the imagination.

April 21, 2009 - The global cooling trend that began early in 2007 continues. America’s official global reading for March, 2009 has been issued by Goddard Space Institute. The month was the coldest of this young century and colder than March of 1990. The satellite records show an even stronger recent cooling trend.

Equally interesting, Goddard says this year’s March was just 0.03 degrees warmer than March of 1981, a year when the El Nino/La Nina index was approximately the same as today’s. Does that mean the planet’s net warming is only three hundredths of a degree C over the last 30 years?  Thanks to Czech physicist Lubos Motl for spotting that relationship.

Must be those nasty gun shows, held all over the nation, where all the drug lords are picking up old Mini-14′s and such. Why would they bother? They can pick up grenades down South of the Border for a buck! Of coarse, they can always politely knock on my front door, and I’ll be glad to give them a lead shower…

The Department of Homeland Security, headed by Also Known As (AKA) Obama appointee, Janet Napolitano, has released a report that targets every freedom-loving American. No greater indictment of the truth about the Marxist AKA Administration can be found than this just released report, following hard on the heels of the MIAC report out of Missouri that stated, emphatically, that right-wing extremists are “usually supporters of former Presidential Candidate: Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr” and display “pictures, cartoons, bumper stickers that contain anti-government rhetoric.” This report, it was determined, had connections to Morris (the Sleaze) Dees and his Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an organization that has made no bones about its pro-Marxist, anti-American stance.

April 20, 2009 – Just as the first chapter in the Book of Genesis says, “In the beginning…” I suppose any discussion of the Constitution should start at the beginning as well. The question then arises, when exactly was the beginning? Was the beginning when the Constitution was drafted, or when it was agreed upon by the delegates? Possibly it was when it was ratified by the states, or maybe it was when George Washington was sworn in as our first President? I would venture to guess that most people assume the beginning means when it was ratified by the states. Unfortunately, they would be wrong.

April 19, 2009 - Unlike the Erich Segal novel of the late 1960’s, this is not a ‘Love Story’, but one of a love gone bad – or at least out of lust.

Having recently returned from a trip to North Carolina, I begin to have a different perspective on the issues of the day, but first, I must return to history to establish my current mental status.

I have spent most of my life (since the 5th grade) reading and studying history – chiefly that of America. ’America’! What a beautiful land, comprised of mostly beautiful people of vast lands and cultures. A place where people dreamed of, but of a single word, ‘Freedom.’ The Grand Experiment, where all could come to live their dreams of opportunity and the rights to free speech, freedom of religion and so much more.

During the Clinton Administration, an ailing Federal agency (BATF) was searching for a cause to keep them funded.

They found the perfect publicity stunt with a raid on a bunch of harmless religious people called, “The Branch Davidians,” down in Waco, Texas.

Their leader, David Koresh, was a licensed gun dealer, as well as minister of the church. The BATF agents could have arrested Mr. Koresh anytime on his way to or from town while he was alone, but they decided to make an international scene out of a routine subpoena serving.

On a Sunday morning while the Davidian’s were all praying nice in their church, a group of BATF agents called the media and alerted them to a raid on a bunch of extremists at Mt. Carmel, their church. They told the media that the Davidian’s were a cult of radical extremists that had to be dealt with.
