That Goddamned Piece of Paper – Again!

opinion_blog“Three days after the attacks of September 11th, 2001 The Federal Observer, in conjunction with Armed Females of America posted the petition, which would ultimately lead to victory to restore a commercial airline pilot’s right to be armed in defense of his aircraft, his crew and ultimately – his passengers. Three hundred and fifty-nine days after our modern “Day of Infamy”, this second leg of our battle for America has been won – now onto the President’s desk. In less than one year – with the work, which we had begun – we have witnessed victory with the help, efforts and assistance of the Airline Pilots Security Alliance – an organization, which did not exist until after our petition came along.” (from It’s a Good Day to DieSeptember 7, 2002)

•  After the September 11 attacks, commercial airline pilots were allowed to carry guns if they completed a federal-safety program. No longer would unarmed pilots be defenseless as remorseless hijackers seized control of aircraft and rammed them into buildings. The Federal Observer is proud to have played a major role in that accomplishment.

With Mustard – We Get Frank: Barney Frank

mad_mad_world1March 18, 2009You could go to baseball game at Fenwick and order “Barney’s Frank.”

I think that I’ll pass, as he and his(?) ilk have stuck it to us far too long. What is about these pollyanna-ticians from Massachusetts anyway? One guy likes (Heinz) Ketchup, another traverses bridges in the middle of the night, looking for a place to take a young lady for a midnight swim, and the other likes young page-boys.

We are so F&*#@d!

Creeping Privacy Threat

big_brother_thumb_2March 18, 2009Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them;”Frederick Douglas

The routine incremental invasion of privacy by the government continues. For years some of us have been warning about the catch-22 danger of various government ID plans. The big boogie man threat is a fear of eventual mandates for everyone to be issued sub dermal biochip implants. Not yet…it’s too early to try for that brass ring.

However, prior to ‘Big Brother’ being able to realize ubiquitous and omniscient control as the objective, we the people have to be conditioned to acceptance and various incremental steps must be introduced, mandated and accepted.

Where Is Your Head America?

mini_madMarch 18, 2009The question I find myself confronting, on a daily basis, is this; Am I to sit idly by and allow my rights to be wrested from me by puppets who masquerade as public servants? I can hear my conscience nagging at me, telling me that what is going on in this country is both wrong, and will ultimately lead to our downfall.

Then on the other hand, I feel the burden of fighting overwhelming odds. Those whose goal is the downfall of this nation have done a commendable job of ensuring that the people of this country remain ignorant of their intent.

Mainstream Media Finally Catching Up to The DeWeese Report

touch_evil_blogMarch 18, 2009Again and again, The DeWeese Report has told you that the real agenda we face is a global one called Sustainable Development, as outlined in the UN’s soft-law document called Agenda 21. We’ve warned that this policy is designed to establish the United Nations as the main force for imposing global government, replacing national sovereignty, controlling the economy and the population, and that it is based on a strange mixture of Socialism and Fascism. Time and again, we’ve reported that global governance is a euphemism for global government. In addition, we’ve exposed the world-wide environmental movement as the driving force for such policies, working toward a wrenching transformation of the world economy, using the environment as the center (or the excuse) for such policy.

The Great Obama Gun Grab: No Longer Just Paranoia

breech_thumb_new

This column has already been updated. Read and see below. We’ve won one – for now! (Ed.)

March 18, 2009For months, anyone who’s proffered the position that the Obama Administration was anti-gun has been dismissed as being a variety of things, from sore loser to rampant paranoid. Nonetheless, since assuming office, members of the Obama administration have steadily- and stealthily- moved against firearms and ammunition.

Their only public blunder was Attorney General Holder’s saying the “assault weapons ban” needed to be reinstated. Quickly, House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi – no friend of gun owners – went on record as opposing Holder’s suggestion. She went as far as to parrot the words of pro-gun groups, saying the government should enforce the laws on the books today, rather than introducing new laws.

Putting a Child in Charge

soetoro_speaksMarch 18, 2009The last time America elected a young President it was John F. Kennedy, age 44 when he took office.

The result was the Bay of Pigs fiasco involving an ill-fated invasion of Cuba to overthrow Fidel Castro and the decision to step in for the defeated French in Vietnam. Other comparable decisions were cut short by his assassination. We remember him mostly for his stirring inaugural speech, but his choice of Lyndon Johnson as his Vice President gave us the escalation of the Vietnam War and Great Society social spending that proved to be a waste of billions.

On Whiners & Such: Sympathy Stories Abound

rear_window_blog1March 18, 2009As I have been doing my morning news surfing I have come across numerous articles which are crying about the *plight of the immigrants* (ILLEGALS).

There are stories about the children who complain they did nothing wrong, it was their parents who brought them.  And the sob stories go on and on – all written to get SYMPATHY –  not compliance with immigration law – just sympathy and the chance to stay here and maybe get legal status.

The “Hegelian Dialectic” at Work in America and the World

point_blank_blogMarch 18, 2009A very long time ago I realized that the US seemed to, somehow, have more crises under Democrat administrations. You ever noticed that? Think back, and I’ll bet you will have an epiphany moment, yourself.

Creating a national or international crisis is a long standing, time proven, way for a politician, or a political group, to gain more power, or solidify it’s hold on the power it already has, while it distracts the attention of “The Great Unwashed” from what it is actually doing. By the time the voter’s attention is once again trained on the politician or political group, they have managed to acquire more power than they had and they will explain that it was necessary to get a handle on the crisis (which did not exist before they created it).
