Sleeping With the Enemy

bennett_blog_2March 31, 2009Are you shocked? Hell, I’m not. When you sleep with the Devil – you take it in the assets.

So, a few months ago, while Junior was still in residency at 1600, the (once) B I G Three Auto makers from the Mutha City (Detroit) came to town to beg for financial AIDS from Big Brother and the holding Company (CON-ress). They all flew down to the city of DeCeit – Washington, you know… BIG cars, loose wimmen, little choir boys (pages) and 535 Traitors with no balls.

Obama Machine Affirms Ineligibility to Office

rear_window_blogMarch 31, 2009 – As of this writing, America is 70 days into the Also Known As (AKA) “Obama” Administration. People have sent me e-mails asking me to call this man our “president” or call him by his name, “Barack Obama.”

I can do neither. AKA is not our legal president, he is a usurper sitting in the Oval Office, signing into law bills when he has not legal authority to do so, having failed to produce one shred of credible evidence that he is eligible to the office of president under Article II, Section 1, United States Constitution. As he is not our legal president, the laws he is signing are null and void, any money appropriated and spent under those bills constitutes criminal theft perpetrated upon the American body politic.

America Under Siege!

biesada_thumb_newMarch 30, 2009Once again, American’s are challenged and put to test.

This time, with the daunting task of fighting terrorist’s overseas, and domestic terrorists who have infiltrated our government and are holding American’s hostage to the deleterious effects of Socialism.

When the Bush / Paulson gang rode into town and hijacked the United States Treasury, they committed Grand Theft, while our witless society sat around complacent, watching their retirement dreams go up in smoke, leading President Obama and his Chicago crime syndicate, to have a field day, blatantly usurping the law.

Camp: The Two Sides of Failure

39_steps_blogMarch 30, 2009 – “I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.” That’s pretty good advice from entertainer Bill Cosby who also just happens to hold a PhD in education.

Right now, Congress is trying to please everybody and, since October of last year, has been bailing out businesses when, in fact, the public might have been better served by allowing the laws of bankruptcy to permit the changes necessary to learn from failure.

A Brief Dissertation On The Constitution & The Bill Of Rights

founders_thumbMarch 30, 2009In an effort to understand the mindset of the people I am trying to reach with my articles, I decided to perform a little experiment. A few days ago I overheard some people discussing the economic crisis. One of them was all in favor of our government bailing out as many companies as needed to revitalize our economy.

Taking the chance that I didn’t get punched in the face right then and there, I said, “You know, people who don’t know what they are talking about should just keep their mouths shut.” There was an uncomfortable moment of silence, then this person, instead of knocking me on my ass, responded by saying, “You know, you aren’t the only one who has the freedom of speech.”

H.R. 1444: Mandatory Volunteerism

flam_constit_thumbMarch 30, 2009Well, well, well … not happy with just half the cake, Jim McDermott, D-WA, introduced on March 11, 2009, H.R. 1444.  Lynn has done another search for it on Thomas a bit ago and it didn’t come up, so she searched for all bills introduced by McDermott and it came up. Does it surprise you that YOUR transparent government, doesn’t want you to se at all???

Of course B. D. Kennedy signed on as a co-sponsor, but he would have done that if he were alive…  As always, thanks Lynn.

From Populist Rage to Revolution

hirschhorn_thumbMarch 30, 2009 - Americans clearly are capable of being outraged.  Missing, however, is a sustained, vibrant demand for deep reforms of our political and government system.  You hear a lot about populist rage these days, especially connected to the AIG bonus debacle.  But populist rage as a reflection of class conflict and anger about our economic meltdown does not necessarily make a political revolution.  The saddest thing about Obama winning the presidency was that his change message drained what might have been sufficient national energy for true revolutionary political reforms.

Netanyahu and the ‘Future of the Peace Process’

israel_thumb_new_1March 30, 2009 - It seems that the Palestinian-Israeli ‘peace process’ is in serious jeopardy. At least, this is the immediate impression one gleans from media reports from Israel. Unlike, Israel’s Kadima and Labor party ‘moderates’, Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu is largely considered to be a possible impairment to the negotiations aimed at facilitating a two-state solution. The media story, however, is riddled with misconceptions and dotted with false assumptions.

How Can We Achieve A Successful Revolution?

thumbs_upMarch 30, 2009 – At a remote beach on the Indonesian island of Java in March, 1998, I was approached by a young Indonesian college student with a simple question which required a complex answer. He said he was representing the student resistance movement whose leaders were in Jojakarta and Jakarta.

Their goal? While under national martial law they intended to overthrow the administration of President Suharto and establish the first democratically elected president in their Islamic country of 14,000 islands and 700 languages.  As the 4th most populated country in the world, the goal was to achieve a relatively peaceful transition.

Telling CO2 Lies to Destroy America

point_blank_blogMarch 30, 2009My friend, the internationally famed climatologist, Dr. S. Fred Singer, calls them “the CO2 wars.” It is the last ditch attempt by the Greens, under the aegis of the Obama administration, to declare carbon dioxide a pollutant and thus open the door to its regulation.

Singer says such regulation “would be the equivalent of an atomic bomb directed at the U.S. economy—all without any scientific justification.”

Ewart: The Rapidly Declining Constraints on Rising Government Power

ewart_blogMarch 30, 2009Who stuck a knife through the “heart” of the U. S. Grand Jury?

For hundreds of years the Grand Jury was one major impediment to rising government power.  Some forms of the grand jury date back to the Magna Carta of 1215 and evolved even further under Common Law.  In America, it was and still should be, a constitutionally protected impediment to increasing government power, embedded in the 5th Amendment by the beginning words: “No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury.”

Can you hear me now???

yo_mommaMarch 27, 2009I continue to be amazed at the ignorance of the people who “voted” for AKA, the Usurper, Pharaoh, the Deliverer (Moses, he’s not), the Messiah (no, not HIM either), the Kenyan – or what ever the hell you wish to call him.

Now we have 1388 staring us smack in the face with the mandatory/voluntary Youth Corps – all with nice, pretty little uniforms (presumably ‘Brown Shirts’), et al – and himz wife be showin’ de masses how dis heah volunteerism thing s’pose to work. DAMN! She sho nuff be havin’ a fine time. Fine time!

Ewart: Back To The Future: The Obama Legacy!

postman_ewartMarch 25, 2009Jeremy huddled in a corner of the old log cabin, out of the wind, even though it blew through the cracks in the walls and whistled and moaned from time to time.  The sky was dark grey and menacing.  The coming twilight filled him with dread.   There would be no artificial light for the approaching darkness and he tried not to think of the long night ahead.

His current dwelling was once a small log cabin complete with solar panels, but the ravages of time, the sun, the wind and the rain had taken their toll on the aging building and it was but a few years from total collapse.  The cabin creaked under the strain of the wind.

My Line In The Sand

harvey_line_in_sandMarch 24, 2009Pop singer John Cougar Mellancamp once sang, “You’ve got to stand for something, or you’re gonna fall for anything.” I guess that must be true, else how else can one account for the fact that someone actually believes the following statement taken from a Pro Obama image I found on the internet?

“I would rather have a President who wraps himself in the Constitution and allows the burning of the Flag than one who wraps himself in the Flag and allows the burning of the Constitution.”

We, as a nation, have done just a bang up job of educating our children in regards to our nations history, its culture, and the principles upon which our government was founded.

Demography and Economy: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

guest_thumb_1March 24, 2009The release on March 18, 2009, of preliminary childbirth data from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) for 2007 has yielded mixed news – some good but most providing troubling insight into potentially crippling problems for American society and the American economy.  These data suggest that 2007 was a very bad year, indeed.  While most media focused on the teen pregnancy data, they missed the bigger picture.  Here is the bigger picture.

Intifada: A Third Chapter

israel_thumb_new_1March 24, 2009Though the dust has settled in Gaza, the rubble from the untold number of demolished buildings, homes and mosques is far from being cleared away. Graves continue to receive victims, young and old alike, from Israel’s most recent offensive. And in the midst of this, with the hopes of some respite and recovery on the horizon, rumors of a third Intifada swell among politicians, scholars and everyday people alike.

While the first and second Palestinian uprisings were spontaneous and natural responses to institutionalized injustice, and while they fostered a great sense of community and brotherhood among Palestinians everywhere, the many years of uprisings mark some of the most painful years in Palestinian history.

The Once and Future Money

wealth_thumb_4March 24, 2009We have oft heard, “from the mouth of babes…” - in this case, “from the winds of the past.”

Six years ago, Bob Landis penned this presentation, which asked the question, “How does a volatile commodity square with a sober emphasis on capital preservation?” This at a time, when gold was trading for about $340.00 per ounce. Where will it be six years from today???

The Once and Future Money

GAO: The Influenza Pandemic

bomexspecialreport_blogMarch 24, 2009Once again, in our endeavor to make you THINK for yourself - The Federal Observer brings you a complete US Government document. This was first published by the Government Accountability Office, and ostensibly deals with the issue of National Planning and Preparedness Efforts.

My Purpose In Writing

ross_neal_0808March 22, 2009When some people read my articles, I get the impression that they focus more on who I am talking about, rather than what I am talking about. As I write, I find myself in a never ending struggle to word things in such a way so as to get the message across without turning people off. My only desire is that they will, at least, consider the possibility that I may be telling them the truth.

I would like to continue along that train of thought for a moment. While any individual article may be discussing the actions of a specific person in our government, if you look closely there is a constant theme behind all my articles. That theme being, our government is, and has been, assuming powers not authorized, and infringing upon our rights.

Ruff: The Case for Inflation

wealth_thumb_4March 22, 2009Inflation is always a monetary phenomenon. Since the printing press, it has in all times and in all places been the inevitable consequence of creating large amounts of money, not backed by any commodity, such as gold.

Now we are in a period of deflation, with falling prices. Government will do what it feels it has to do to fight deflation, because deflation is synonymous with depression, like in the 1930s. But the only way they know how to solve a problem like this is to throw money at it. The amounts are in the trillions; nothing is like it in all of history.

If all of this newly created money does not cause inflation, it will be the first time in the history of fiat money that inflation has not resulted. Based on the lessons of history, that’s the way to bet.
