February 16, 2009 – A strange thing happened a while back. I witnessed an elderly couple crossing a street. As they approached the middle of the intersection, the elderly gentleman bent over and attempted to lick his genitalia just before he got struck by a fast moving truck.

BAM!

Wow, what a shock. I went running over to the scene trying to console his wife as this poor guy lied motionless on the street.

“I’m sorry Granny.,” I started to blurt out, using words of sympathy, but she seemed oblivious to the fact that her husband had just got run over by an 80,000 lb. truck.

Once upon a time, a white teenager from Kansas got pregnant by her black Kenyan boyfriend, Barack Obama Sr., or was it her husband? Whatever. (I say no whatever because we’ve never seen either marriage or divorce certificates). Some say the couple was in Kenya visiting relatives when the birth of their son, Barack Obama Jr., occurred. No matter. (I say no matter because we’ve never seen an authentic birth certificate). By the time the baby was two years old his father abandoned him for his other wife and child in Kenya.

February 16, 2009 - Last week I received the below email from a lady in Belgium who had just read my book “RKBA: Defending the Right to Keep and Bear Arms“. She was distraught and discouraged because her beloved country was no longer what it used to be. Here are her words: “Another nutcase criminal entered a baby/little kid’s daycare center… and he began to stab the kids with a knife! You know what the adults who are supposed to take care of the kids did? One was stabbed himself, but two others ran away. One hid behind a closed door and watched through the window while the kids got slaughtered and another one ran away and left the kids alone with the attacker! Two babies died, several kids badly wounded… The country is in shock, how is this possible? …No one said anything about the cowardly behavior of the two adults who ran away. They told it like it was a normal reaction, a normal thing to do…” 

February 16, 2009 - My father used to say that there was no defense against stupidity. He was a very smart man. When he entered kindergarten in the early 1900’s, he spoke his parent’s native language of Italian. The teacher seated him beside a boy who spoke both English and Italian, and he learned English. Nobody gave it any more thought than that.

Dad passed through the K-12 grades in Newark, N.J., and then worked his way through New York University to gain a degree in accounting. Then he studied some more and was among the youngest men to become a Certified Public Accountant. All that study and hard work helped him survive the Great Depression. It is a classic American story.

February 16, 2009 – Now that the Socialists have taken over the government of the United States, they need to insure they can maintain their control and they cannot be sure of that as long as we citizens are armed. With the Mainstream Media in the United States comfortably ensconced in the pockets of the Democrats very little is being said, if anything, about the Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009. Rest assured, dear reader, it is pending federal legislation in Congress today! (H.R. 45) Representative Bobby Rush of Illinois, a Democrat, introduced the bill on January 6, 2009.

What you about to read is a sign of things to come. Orwell spoke of these things in his book, ’1984′. As der Polizei State marches foward, with their new-found funding ala AKA’s Stimulus Package – just where do you think the funding will continue to come from to facilitate this kind of diabolical nightmare? There’s no way to know how badly things would have gone at the Berwyn Heights, Maryland home of Cheye and Trinity Calvo if Amir Johnson hadn’t shown up when he did.

Johnson, a private on the local police force, was making his accustomed rounds in the neighborhood when he saw a swarm of heavily armed men laying siege to the Calvo home. Inside, Cheye and his mother-in-law, Georgia Porter, were being held face-down at gunpoint with their hands tied behind their backs. The Calvo family’s two black Labradors, Chase and Payton, were dead from gunshot wounds. The assailants who killed the dogs were leaving bloody bootprints throughout the home.

February 16, 2009 - Barack Obama’s bubble has been burst. Over the past three weeks, he has learned a primal conservative lesson, one on which all else is based. As put by the noted political philosopher Clint Eastwood: “A man’s got to know his limitations.” O now has a vague glimmering as to what his limitations are. His followers, as yet, do not.

All of us live in bubbles of one size or another. Bubbles that encompass what we know, what we have experienced, our prejudices, our illusions, and our manner of thinking. It would be strange if it were any other way – as was once written, “Humankind cannot stand too much reality”.

February 15, 2009 – “I’ve been through Y2K and I’ve been through 9/11.  I have never seen people so afraid as what we are seeing right now,” said gun shop owner Scott Moss recently.   With more guns per capita – easily 250 million privately owned ones – and certainly more people in prisons than any other democracy, the intriguing question in this still worsening economic calamity is: If Americans found the courage for political rebellion now, would it preempt massive criminal violence, social havoc and armed rebellion later?

What we see President Obama and Congress doing and debating seem inadequate to restore financial health and security to the vast majority of Americans before millions more lives are devastated.  Billions of tax dollars have gone to banks, corporations and others but have not stopped the hemorrhage of our financial lifeblood.  More than half a million jobs continue to be lost a month; 3.5 million in the past year.  Millions are losing their homes, health insurance and ability to buy food.  Those with jobs are afraid to spend money.
